Cold Plunge Service in Central Texas
Water chemistry, filtration and chiller maintenance for home plunges and for the gyms, studios and clinics that run them all day. Based in Austin, out to Round Rock and the surrounding area.
Cold Water STILL Needs Looking After
Cold slows bacteria down. It does not stop them, and it does nothing at all about the things that actually ruin a plunge: biofilm in the plumbing, scale on the chiller coil, and a sanitizer level that drifted two weeks ago.
A plunge is a small body of water carrying a very high bather load. A hundred-gallon tub with three people a day is working harder per gallon than most backyard pools ever do. That is why plunges go cloudy and start to smell long before their owners expect it.
What A Visit Covers
- Sanitizer levels and water balance.
- Filter rinsed or replaced, and the basket cleared.
- Chiller checked — coil, condenser, airflow, and the temperature it is really holding against the one on the display.
- Plumbing lines checked for biofilm, and purged when they need it.
- Surfaces, tub and waterline wiped down.
- Every reading written down, so you are looking at a trend not just today's readings.
Water Changes
Most plunges want a full drain and refill on a schedule rather than when the water looks bad. By the time it looks bad, dissolved solids have been climbing for a month. How often depends on how hard the unit is used, so we set it per plunge rather than per calendar.
Residential and Commercial
Home Plunges
One tub, one household, usually every week or two. The work is chemistry, filter care, and keeping a chiller from scaling up or starving for air in a garage that hits 110°F in August.
Barrel, tub and built-in units, indoors or out.
Gyms, Studios and Recovery Rooms
A shared plunge turns its whole volume over several times a day, and it is the one an inspector asks about. Visits are more frequent, every test is logged, and you keep the record.
Multi-unit sites, hotel and clubhouse installs, and athletic facilities.
Service Areas
Each area page lists the neighborhoods it covers and what is particular about plunges there. Somewhere not on the list? Ask. If it is close, it is probably covered.
